When we rented from orchard we did a walk thru on a wed. and we were told the apt would be ready on Friday to move in and that we had all new flooring. Nope, vinyl was not new, the apt was dirty, sliding glass door was broken and we had no screens on any windows. Every time I talked to either the office or maintenance they had excuse after excuse.. finally talked to manager and she had no idea what I was talking about. Management DOES NOT keep track of maintenance staff. Every time I talked to maintenance they said theyâd check on repairs and call me back in a day or 2 and never did. It took 2-3 months to get a glass door installed and screens on the windows, longer to get a glass closet door removed from outside a window. The kids that live here were throwing shards at each other and I still had to contact twice to get it removed. Maintenance supervisor spends most of his time on personal projects, and straight up lies about fixing things. His was the only sidewalk that got shoveled after the storm on 2-13-21. On warmer days you can find him drinking and talking with friends in the parking lot. The small bedroom has only about half carpet padding, concrete(?) flooring underneath. They have a cool clubhouse but you canât access unless the office is open and they are strictly 9-5, M-F. Unless they close for meetings. The patch work on the walls from previous tenants is awful, I could have done better.
Also overheard maintenance discussing sleeping with me?? Supervisor made the comment, âoh man, you donât want none a that bit**..â
